Materials & construction

Rows of rectangular panels in black natural lacquer are mounted like bricks on slim vertical rods, staggered so the joints never align; each panel turns on its rod to open or close the view. A form with a long history in modern design, made here in Chinese lacquer. Also offered in white or red lacquer.
