Designed in Foshan, Installed in Australia: A Whole-Home Furnishing
The owners of a new build in Australia didn't want local showroom furniture — and didn't want to decorate a whole house alone. They gave us their floor plan. We gave them a home.
Ratahome designed the complete soft furnishing — living, dining, and bedrooms as one coordinated scheme: a modular sofa and travertine coffee table, a sculptural burl-wood cabinet, dining chairs in leather and bouclé, upholstered beds with layered textiles. The family reviewed every piece in our Foshan showroom before confirming.
Before anything shipped, each item passed our quality inspection — checked, photographed, and counted piece by piece. Furniture was crated at the factory to maritime standard, so nothing needed re-packing on the way to port. We managed the container, export filing, and Australian clearance door to door.
On delivery day, the crates arrived at the driveway on schedule. Our installation crew unpacked, assembled, and placed every piece to the design plan, then cleared all packing waste. The owners walked into rooms that matched the renders they had approved months earlier.
