Description
Gold-leaf panels painted with drifting clouds and cranes, a motif of long life and refinement, are set in a black walnut frame whose curved members sweep across the panels in Art Nouveau lines. Old-money restraint, new Chinese bones and a curve borrowed from the turn of the last century. It stands behind a sofa or bed in place of a painting.
